Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus!!!

What an adventure. Last night we had a blast delivery love and cheer to all. Some may think this would get old but it never does. I love to keep the spirit of goodwill alive in all, young and old.

I am just continuing the goodness Jesus brings to our lives and remind you, as we celebrate his birthday, to make a difference in peoples lives too.

Keep up the great Missions and keep coming back to talk to me at TheNorthPole.com

The North Pole is alive with love....
I just want to thank all my wonder filled elves and Mrs. Claus for all the love they share this time of year. The North Pole is filled with joy and love and food and food and more love. We are looking forward to sharing our love with you on Christmas, Jesus's Birthday, and everyday.

Giving of yourself is Joyous, Santa Guaranteed!

Thank you Lily for playing with your little sister. I know that makes her and your mother happy.

Thank you Sophie and Keri for helping your mom with the dishes and chores around the house. That makes a big difference in your mammy's day.

And a big shout out to all the good boys and girls who made a difference today! Remember to keep that up all year round. Jesus's Birthday is only once a year, but the spirit of Christmas can live on everyday.

Lots of Love,
Santa

Feeding the poor and those in need....

Many of you have been writing in to make sure I am taking care of the homeless and poor with food. We love and adore your concern.

Feeding the poor is Mrs. Claus specialty and joy. All year long Mrs Claus and her volunteers around the world do their part in making a difference in their communities. Mrs Claus works with organizations in your area as part of the North Pole Mission. TheNorthPoleMission.org

From transporting food from restaurants to those in need to picking excess fruit from trees that would otherwise rot on the ground. See how you can be part of TheNorthPoleMission.org

Keep the emails coming...I love them....
Hello boys and girls,

Yes I read your emails! Sorry I don't have the time to personally respond to them. I do, however, make mention of them in this blog. So keep letting me know what you are doing this holiday.

Post your missions in The North Pole Mission forum, upload your holiday pictures and send me your emails.

Here is a wonderful Mission sent in from D.Miller.

This is kind of silly I guess. You want to know what I am doing to make a difference. Not much as of late. You see dear santa much like maryloo who on the grinch I cant find christmas any where. I have lost faith in the human race. I decided to do a 25 days of christmas thing. It started last night when a man came to my job and needed gas money. I hesitated but gave it to him anyway. From that point decided to do random acts of kindness everyday until christmas. Why? Maybe to restore some glimmer of hope that I can make a real difference in lives. Maybe to show myself that not all humans are greedy, selfish, and heartless. Maybe its to even prove that point is true and no matter what I do it wont change. I know this to be true that I am no where I was in my faith. Just maybe the reason for myloss of joy isnt because of others but because of me. So santa I am trying vey hard to make a difference not only for others but in me!

Thank you D.Miller for taking the first step. It all starts with a random act of kindness. Giving of yourself is Joyous Santa Guaranteed.

Santa

Kids Making a Difference....

I love getting all the emails you are sending in about how you are making a difference in peoples lives this Christmas Season. A big shout out to Noah who shared his mission...."Listening to my mom and showing my sister how to be a better person by being one myself." I love that one.

And lots of you are asking me if I liked the cookies you made me. YES!!! I loved them. I love tasting all the different kinds from kids around the world. And the reindeer love them too. It keeps us going through the night.

Keep up the great work. You kids are awesome!

Give Thanks Day is everyday....
Hello everyone,

It is cold up here at The North Pole. The fire is roaring and is keeping us warm. Today is our day to recover from a joy filled Thanksgiving, a tradition that many people in America celebrate. The reindeer are out playing, working off all the wonderful food Mrs. Claus and our guests made. We are over joyed by all the people who made the trek to the North Pole to spend a day of thanks with us.

As we enter into this season remember everyday is a great day to give thanks. Keep it simple and peace filled.

Love and hugs,
Santa and Mrs. Claus

The little things that bring joy.....
Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas.

Just 5 days til the big celebration of Jesus's birthday. Have you made plans to bake a cake for Jesus? Each year Mrs Claus and I think of a new recipe for our Christmas Birthday party cake. This year it is an angel food cake. My favorite!

Can you bring joy to someone you care about. Bake two cakes. One for your birthday celebration and one to bring to someone special. Christmas gift giving is about doing the little things that bring joy. If you can't bake a cake, then write a poem, sing a song, hug someone, hold a hand, smile a big smile...no need to spend money.

Gifts from the heart are always the best ones.

I put love into each of the gifts I give to you to help celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Remember, giving of yourself is joyous, Santa Guaranteed!

Love,
Santa

How was your thanksgiving?
I want to thank you all who made the treck up here to The North Pole for Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time. Lots of wonderful food Mrs. Claus and the elves prepared for us, the fun games we played and the "what we are greatful for" stories we told and listen to by the warm fire.

And for all of you who couldn't make it, Mrs Claus and I know you were enjoying it with your family or making a difference by helping out those in need.

We love you and look forward to reading all of The North Pole Missions you are taking on this year.

Til my next blog!

Love,
Santa

Feeding and helping those in need this week...
I am receiving lots of stories that you are out there helping you your communities. While times may be a little tough for you and your families these days, they are also a great reminder of what is really important - family, friends and our communities.

Here are some of the great things you are doing out there. Remember, Giving of yourself is Joyous Santa Guaranteed!

1. Invite someone to your house for thanksgiving that doesn't have a place to go.

2. Collect some food and bring to your local resource center.

3. Be a Food runner (with your parents) in your area for The North Pole Mission. Contact Kristi@TheNorthPole.com (760-633-3012) if you are interested.

4. Visit a senior center to help serve meals or just be someone to listen to their stories, so they can share their wisdom.

These are just a few ideas. Remember to post your mission ideas in our Missions Forum (This forum can use some good ideas for people) or send santa a personal letter.

Also remember to post your favorite recipes in our Holiday Recipe Forum.

Create a wonderful day!

Love,
Santa

Thanks-giving is just around the corner....

The exciting holiday season is here. As you know it is not about the gifts and stuff we get that has us all so excited. It is the time of year we open our hearts up to everyone. That feels good.

Thanksgiving is a perfect start to this season. It is a time to eat (which I love) and it is time to be thankful for all we have (which I love even more). We have a lot to be thankful for. If you are reading this, you have more than most of the world. Clothes on your back, a house to sleep in, running water, and so on. Most of us live better now than the Kings and Queens did centuries ago. (remember, I was there) Wow, what a wonderful life we live. I am so greatful for all that Mrs. Claus and I have. And I am greatful for the love we can share at Christmas.

So this Thanksgiving. Let's all start the Christmas season out with thanks for just where we are and what we have today.

I look forward to eating some of Mrs Claus's wonderful food. And if you get yourself up to The North Pole, you are welcome to join us.

Send me the list of things you are greatful for and of course your favorite Thanksgiving Food item.

Post your favorite recipes in our new recipe's forum.

Love and hugs,
Santa

Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Last night was another successful journey around the world. I hit some tough cross winds over the Himalayas and took a brief detour. Thanks to some helpful sherpas, I found my way back to my charted course. The pageantry, music, and decorations around the world were just breathtaking. And there’s an amazing hush that falls over the cities, towns, and villages in the wee hours of Christmas morning. Families and friends reunite. And the fighting has stopped on battlegrounds. For just this very brief time, there is peace and goodwill around the globe. And I know it’s not because of the presents I put under the tree or the stockings filled with treats. The magic of Christmas lives in the heartfelt wishes for joy, peace, and love. I bring gifts wrapped in pretty papers and ribbons, but it’s each of you that gives far more than I could ever do. Find the love in your heart and pass it on. Merry Christmas to all! May all your days be as joyous as this one! !

P.S. - Merry Christmas! and Happy Birthday Jesus. Remember to post your holiday pictures in our photo gallery. I will personally respond to all of them.

P.P.S. - Are you my helper? Can you help make a difference in someone's life, today, this holiday, and everyday?

Getting ready for my sleigh ride.

The big day — or should I say “night” — is finally here!! It’s time to load up my sleigh with all of the gifts I’ll be delivering tonight. I can’t begin to tell you the excitement here. The Quality Control Elves are doing a final check of last-minute requests and making sure all lists have been checked twice. We don’t want to miss anyone on this important journey. Meanwhile, the kitchen crew is preparing my picnic. Yes, even though I get lots of milk and cookies, they always pack sandwiches, fruit, and plenty of hot chocolate (made my favorite way: a pinch of cinnamon, a touch of vanilla, extra marshmallows, and a candy cane to stir it with). Plus, I carry lots of carrots for my hard-working reindeer team. Got to run now…I mean, FLY!

Track Santa on Christmas Eve

P.S. - Merry Christmas! Remember to celebrate Jesus's birthday - Happy Birthday Jesus.

Food for the feast

Everyone knows that I have a special fondness for food, particularly the sweet stuff! As much as I welcome the many types of cookies that wait for me at the homes I visit, I also like the variety of foods that people serve for their Christmas Eve celebrations. The Slovaks celebrate with a special feast known as “Stedry Vecer”. The Japanese people, who only began celebrating Christmas less than a century ago, enjoy strawberry shortcake, topped with a plastic fir tree, while they wait for a visit from “Uncle Chimney”. In the southern hemisphere, where the weather is warm at Christmas, their bountiful feast is filled with fruits and veggies from the recent summer harvest. The Danish menu on Christmas Eve includes almond porridge, stuffed duck, pork, red cabbage, and candied potatoes. The Armenians follow the menu of Mary’s very meager meal: fried fish and spinach. And the French, who are known for their incredible food, enjoy a sumptuous feast after midnight that is finished with the traditional Buche de Noel, a very sweet cake. What will YOU be dining on this Christmas Eve?

P.S. - I'd love to hear and see pictures about your Christmas eve celebrations. Remember to post them in the picture gallery.

P.P.S. - Are you my helper? Can you help make a difference in someone's life, today, this holiday, and everyday?
